general and universal axioms shouldn’t require special knowledge or tools to recognize; they should be readily found in media as diverse as disinterested science, spiritual wisdom, and commercial culture.

with this in mind, this research project takes distinct hard and soft approaches, both undergoing further refinement.

the hard approach follows the lexical hypothesis, suggesting that the most meaningful concepts are encoded in single words. accepting this premise, keywords found in studied texts are tallied, inventoried and compared across theories, drawing connections between cognates, synonyms, and analogical entailments.

the soft approach is hermeneutical: source texts are consolidated into thick descriptions that summarize key concepts. quotes are liberally used in the body and end notes of research as to evidence fidelity to its sources.

common sense and intuition play a larger role in this method, appealing to the sense of recognition when one hears something congruent with what is already known or familiar.

accessibility is prioritized, so research is presented through multimedia. notes from source material are also available for transparency.
